The Race of the Lycans Physical DescriptionLycans, otherwise known as Werebeasts, typically stand from 1m40 to a little over 2 meters tall and weigh from 50 to 130 kilograms, with men noticeably taller and heavier than women. Their skin shades range from nearly black to very pale, their hair from black to light blond (curly, kinky, or straight) and their facial hair (for men) from sparse to thick. As well, Werebeasts resemble humans, their close brethren, but with distinctively bestial features such as sharp teeth, claws, pointed ears, or fur. However, to a human’s eye, the resemblance is less obvious than the differences. Unlike humans, werebeasts have flat, animal like noses, larger than usual eyes which allow them to see better in low light, heavy eyebrows, pointed ears, skin that is often of a brownish shade, and much more hair.
RelationsAlthough feral in appearence, Werebeasts come of all kinds. Ranging from the lone wolf to the noble pack leader. As such, they are as varied in nature as their human bretheren. They tend to avoid races other than humans, seeing no relevant reason to mix.
AlignmentAlthough they come of all sorts, Werebeasts have a tendancy towards Chaos rather than law as they live in small communities.
Werebeast LandsWherever they settle, it is rarely permanent. Werebeasts are by nature nomadic and adventuring. Werebeasts form small communities, or packs. Generally the leader is the strongest or wisest, depending on the pack.
ReligionWerebeasts tends to no particular religion, other than that of Nature itself. They deem actions over words and therefor aren't interested in the promises of different churches.
LanguageWerebeasts have their own language. It ressembles Common but has a much larger emphasis on body language. It has no written form and thus not much litrature is known for the race.
