The Race of the Xhosans Physical DescriptionXhosans, pronounced "Ko-zan", closely ressemble Humans, albeit visibly more muscular and darker skinned. Effectively, Humans and Xhosans are both sub-races of the same origin. Xhosans are typically stronger and slightly taller than their paler cousins. Most Xhosans have black hair, although other shades are seen even though rare.
RelationsLiving in a harsh environment, Xhosans have learnt to be self reliant above all else. They keep to themselves and have very little contact with the outside world. They view ill of their pale cousins, the Humans. However, Xhosans get along exceptionally well with Lycans, as legends say the origins of the Xhosan shamans were disciples of the Lycans.
AlignmentXhosans typically band together, thus encouraging a loyal allignment. Those who can't fit in a community are quickly excluded and left to fend for themselves. But this isn't a hard forced rule as indeed any powerful member can assume Chief position of the clan.
Xhosan LandsXhosans live in the desertic regions were they are the most at ease. Although living conditions are not the easiest, the hardy tribes have proved themselves to be more than up to the task.
ReligionXhosans believe in several forces, and the Gods associated with them. The most common include Nature, the Spirits and Power. Michellus, although not acknowledged as much as with Humans, remains one of the prominent dieties. The dominant religion is however, devoted to the Spirits, mostly via the Shamans, sometimes seen as celestial themselves.
LanguageXhosans speak Xhosa (pronounced "Ko-za"). It is a very glutteral language and has no alphabet of it's own. Xhosan traditions are passed down orally. When needed, Xhosans use the Human alphabet, adding extra signs to mark the sounds that aren't present in the Human tongue
